NOLA Motorsports park, checkers and wreckers.

The 2023 season opener for CEI race cars happened at NOLA Motorsports park in New Orleans. The Track was a complete unknown us. We have never turned a lap there even for testing in a different vehicle. The Thursday Practice had quite  a bit of rain, and the 92 car of Chris Evans had an off track adventure while searching for grip on the bumpy slick track surface. The Crew was able to repair the car for qualifying and the race. The Number 3 car of Matt Crandall was leading the XGT class, and running well with the TA1 cars when a multi car collision collected him and cut his tire. Chris Evans in his 92 car was able to finish the race and when the XGT class, with Matt in the number 3 car coming in second.
